Application Engineer - Victoria

Salary: $67,196.66 - 93,414.99 per year Requirements:

• A bachelors degree in engineering, engineering technology, HVAC technology, or business management is preferred, along with 1 to 3 years of experience in estimating, project management, engineering, HVAC, or construction management; or an equivalent mix of education and industry experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a proactive mindset and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work effectively and meet demanding deadlines in a fast-moving environment, with close attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with HVAC system operation and/or temperature controls is preferred.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• Ability to travel locally on occasion and hold a valid drivers license for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations in the prior 3 years.

• Review plans and specifications to build accurate cost estimates, including quantities, sizes, configurations, voltage, options, Trane materials, subcontractors, non-Trane equipment, labor, and other construction-related items to support bidding.
• Provide expertise and consultation by developing facility-related solutions for customer challenges.
• Assess project needs, limitations, and responsibilities to meet the customers HVAC system design and installation requirements.
• Work with account managers, project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and/or customers to develop and evaluate solution options.
• Coordinate equipment, controls, and service selection and pricing for each project.
• Prepare, complete, and review preliminary and/or final proposals, including equipment submittals and validation of equipment selections.
• Support account managers in determining proposal pricing, sales strategy, and project fulfillment schedules with the project team.
