This role primarily focuses on orthopedic outpatient care, where you will engage with patients to restore their mobility and enhance their overall quality of life. Work Environment

This position is onsite within our advanced facility in Kissimmee, Florida. The practice atmosphere is collaborative and focused on professional development, where physical therapists work alongside a dedicated team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant. Our work schedule allows for a balance between patient care and administrative responsibilities, with typical hours of operation from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to establish individual treatment goals and objectives.
• Maintain a manageable caseload of one patient at a time, providing focused and personalized attention during each session.
• Implement evidence-based treatment plans that enhance patients' range of motion, strength, and overall physical function.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques and exercise-based interventions to facilitate recovery and promote independence.
• Monitor patients' progress throughout their treatment journey, making adjustments to care plans as necessary.
• Encourage and motivate patients, providing support and guidance to foster their commitment to rehabilitation.
• Create and document comprehensive care plans, ensuring clear communication and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for efficient tracking and management of patient documentation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients, ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to those needing therapeutic intervention for chronic pain and mobility issues. Our practice serves a diverse group of individuals, including active adults recovering from sports injuries, seniors aiming to maintain their independence, and others seeking relief from musculoskeletal conditions.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (MPT/DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A clean professional record with no disciplinary actions or board-related issues.
• Proven proficiency in manual therapy techniques and the development of tailored exercise protocols.
• Experience using EMR software applications, particularly WebPT, to support patient care and documentation processes.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to create effective treatment plans that yield measurable outcomes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to facilitate interactions with patients and team members.

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation package is competitive, offering a salary range of $80,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
