You will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle in accordance with AU Driver Policy requirements, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This role calls for exceptional customer service, clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and an active DoD Secret or Top Secret clearance.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazardous conditions, and policy concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and authorization, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency services as directed by established procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs and incident reports, maintain required equipment, and support security-related operations in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must have an active Texas Armed Guard Card 
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
