Contracts AdministratorNammo Perry is a center of excellence for the design, development and production of munitions and pyrotechnic products for the U.S. Department of Defense. Nammo employees working at the Florida site manufacture all types of 40mm low and high velocity ammunition; pyrotechnic marking; signaling and tactical illumination devices; battlefield effects training simulators; demolition charges; hand grenade fuzes; and other ammunition components. Additionally, they provide load, assemble, and pack (LAP) services for large caliber direct-fire ammunition.The Contracts Administrator will be responsible for preparing, negotiating, and reviewing various company contracts, such as purchases, sales, and business partnerships. The ideal candidate will demonstrate keen attention to detail and identify potential risks and strong analytical skills to analyze contracts, aiming to reduce costs and maximize profits while ensuring compliance with legal regulations. This role will involve ensuring that all our contracts align with regulatory requirements and effectively contribute to our company's objectives.Unique Benefits Designed with Care:Monday - Thursday work week working 10-hour daysRelocation assistance may be provided401(K) with a 6% company match100% Employer-Paid Employee Only Medical Plan OptionEmployer Health Saving Account ContributionsGenerous PTO and nine paid holidaysWhat You'll Do: Precision in ActionReviewing, negotiating, and approving contracts and purchase ordersMaintaining contractual records to company record retention and federal policyEnsuring compliance with contractual terms and conditionsPreparing sales and purchase contractsExplaining terms and conditions to managersMonitoring compliance with legal standardsManaging contract renewals and modificationsLiaising between project managers and other partiesEnsuring timely payments and delivery of servicesAnalyze potential risks involved with specific contract termsMonitor legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department as neededTrack and monitor monthly sales to completionEnsure all internal controls are met for accurate invoicing and participate for internal and external auditsUpdate and maintain accurate records in D365, including forecast orders/sales, actual and planned shipments (invoicing) and contractual due dates.Aid Business Development in the preparation of proposals in response to customer Requests for Proposals and Requests for Quotes. Specifically: maintain accurate Past Performance records to support proposal preparation.Participate in contract review meetings to support Business Development and Program Manager sales objectives.Provide contractual support to Program Managers in the day-to-day operationsTrack and maintain contract data records lists (CDRLS) and other contractually-required data items ensuring timely submission and complianceAssist with communicating contractual requirement to all relevant internal customersMaintain adherence to Company policies and procedures, safety and environmental standards, and good housekeeping practicesMaintain good employee relations, and adherence to Affirmative Action Plan, Labor Laws, and EEO rules and regulationsOther duties as assignedWhat Dedicated Teammates BringBS degree in Business Administration, or related field/degree and three (3) years of relevant experience in contract managementWorking knowledge of legal & compliance requirements involved with defense contractsFamiliarity with accounting procedures and Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesExcellent writing skillsKeen attention to detailStrong analytical and organizational skillsAbility to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partnersOur Working Conditions and RequirementsMust submit to and pass a drug test pursuant to Company Drug-Free Workplace Policy which includes random testingMust have good vision (may be corrected)Must have no known hearing loss (may be corrected)Must be able to stand/walk/sit for prolonged periods of timeMust be able to travelMust have stamina to work more than the scheduled workday when needed, including nights and weekendsMust be able to pick up, handle, and otherwise work paperOur values are the fundamental principles guiding the way we do business and interact with stakeholders.DEDICATION: We are enthusiastic and creative, always searching for the best solutions.
