Description

• Evaluate a diverse range of patients from pediatric to geriatric populations using standard assessments and observational techniques.
• Craft individualized treatment plans targeting both immediate objectives and ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Deliver focused speech therapy interventions aimed at enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing.
• Work collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate integrated care strategies.
• Provide education to patients and families to facilitate progress during and after clinical encounters.
• Assist with occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring a seamless care journey.
• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation in accordance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Keep abreast of industry advancements through ongoing education and peer exchange.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), if not yet ASHA certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
