Payroll Accountant

Responsibilities You will be in charge for post monthly payroll interface files from the payroll system to the General Ledger Partner with HR Payroll to identify and fix General Ledger account coding issues and resolve payroll data discrepancies before posting You will generate monthly payroll expense reports for Controllers and key stakeholders Process union remittances for dues, Health & Welfare, and pension payments with strict compliance to collective bargaining agreements And you will process and prepare vendor invoices related to employee benefits for payment Reconcile payroll and benefit accounts on a monthly basis Maintain and update procedural documentation is part of your role Support additional general accounting tasks as needed Qualifications You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field such as Finance or Business Administration, with at least one year of accounting experience Use advanced Excel skills to support accounting tasks and analysis You can apply working knowledge of Microsoft Access, Power BI, and ERP systems like JD Edwards and Oracle Analytics Server Research and resolve moderate accounting issues with minimal guidance Use strong analytical thinking along with clear verbal and written communication skills You can learn new processes and concepts quickly to support changing business needs Apply accounting principles to prepare journal entries and complete reconciliations Contribute effectively in a diverse, inclusive team environment while promoting respect and integrity Benefits Linde offers competitive compensation and an outstanding benefits package. Additional compensation may vary depending on the position and organizational level. Pay commensurate with experience. Open to salary range $69,750 - $93,000.
