Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• 12 months of travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• COVID booster required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health and no current placement allowed at Program: TruStaff Program - Bon Secours Mercy Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience required MS/Tele experience required; CAPD experience preferred; ability to care for patients requiring BiPAP, CPAP, trachs, chest tubes, and tube feeds (Kangaroo pumps); phlebotomy required

Preferred Skills/Experience: 6 months RN experience in an acute care hospital setting

Required Credentials: Must pass EKG Exam at Orientation

Preferred Credentials: Critical Care Course

Unit/Facility Details: Patient Population: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a mixed MS/Tele unit; includes pre/post hemodialysis care and CAPD patients

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend and major holiday required

Floating Requirements: Traveler may float to other MS/Tele units as needed

7 days maximum time off

2 references required from within the last 2 years

Proof of identification required for submission
