Registered Nurse Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced RN specializing in Labor and Delivery to support high-risk obstetrical patient care. This travel position offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity, womens hospital unit with a focus on delivering safe, quality care to high-risk patients.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Provide comprehensive nursing care to high-risk obstetrical patients in a Womens Hospital setting.
  
  
• 
  Monitor fetal health using GE fetal monitors and perform bedside assessments.
  
  
• 
  Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, D&Cs, and postpartum recovery procedures.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care activities accurately in the Meditech system.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to manage patient acuity and ensure optimal outcomes.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to hospital policies regarding dress code, infection control, and safety protocols.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid RN license with at least 2 years of experience in high-risk labor and delivery.
  
  
• 
  Certified in fetal monitoring (AWONN or equivalent).
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in obstetric procedures including C-section circulating and recovery care.
  
  
• 
  Knowledge of Meditech documentation system and high-risk obstetrical practices.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work 3-12 hour night shifts on a rotating schedule, including weekends.
  
  
• 
  Strong adherence to dress code and infection control policies.
