Customer Success Associate

About the Role This is a customer-facing role at an early-stage AI recruiting platform, where you will own the post-sale relationship with hiring teams across a growing portfolio of customers. You will be the bridge between customers and the product, ensuring they get real value from the platform and stay long-term partners. What You’ll Do Onboard new customers and guide them through the product to drive early adoption and success. Manage ongoing customer relationships through email, phone, and chat, serving as a trusted point of contact. Resolve customer issues promptly, coordinating internally to ensure quick and effective solutions. Track and report on customer health metrics and KPIs to proactively identify at-risk accounts. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within the existing customer base. Maintain accurate customer records and activity logs in the CRM. Use spreadsheet tools and data analysis to monitor customer information and surface insights. Translate product knowledge into clear, practical guidance that helps customers achieve their hiring goals. What We’re Looking For 1 or more years of experience in customer success, account management, or a customer-facing role. Hands-on experience with a CRM such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Pipedrive. Experience with customer support or success tools such as Zendesk or similar helpdesk platforms. Proven ability to onboard customers and translate product features into tangible customer value. Comfort tracking and reporting on customer metrics and KPIs. Strong written and verbal communication skills across email, phone, and chat. Experience identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities with existing customers. Background in a SaaS or subscription-based business is a plus. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is preferred but not required. Must be based in or authorized to work onsite in San Francisco, CA. Visa sponsorship is not available.
