We are seeking a diligent and motivated BUSINESS ATTORNEY to join our team.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ of relevant experience as an attorney with hands on business and real estate transactional experience.

Licensed in NJ, NY a must, and Florida a plus.....

This is an exciting and challenging position that will allow you to grow as a professional.

Responsibilities:

• Counsel clients in business transactions involving the purchase and sale of private businesses from concept to contract to closing.
• Prepare LLC operating agreements and corporate bylaws, shareholders’ agreements, corporate resolutions, and other client documents.
• Prepare letters of intent, lease agreements, purchase and sale agreements, deeds and other conveyance documents for real estate transactions.
• Work collaboratively with partners, associates, paralegals and staff members.
• Effectively organize and maintain transaction documents and scheduling.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years relevant experience as business attorney.
• Willing to pitch in and support related practice areas.
• Able to problem solve, resolve, and close open issues and assist staff and colleagues with resolving issues that arise.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of professionalism and client orientation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively work with various types of clients
• Fast thinker/quick learner.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize and work independently.
• Ability to manage time and resources effectively and independently, and balance conflicting priorities.

Hybrid Work Schedule:

• We currently offer firm attorneys a 3 day in the Morristown, New Jersey office (M,T,W) and 2 day (R,F) optional remote work schedule.
