Exercise Specialist - Cardiovascular Diagnostics - 0.8 FTE-Days

Overview The Exercise Specialist assists in the care of the cardiac patient in multiple modalities. Provides all patient care in the Cardiovascular department, where appropriate. Performs graded exercise evaluations, places/educates patients on cardiac monitors, performs EKGs, monitors/identifies EKG rhythms, and provides lifestyle modification and education where appropriate. Qualifications Bachelors in Fitness/Sports Studies Required. Bachelor of Science in one of the following areas: Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Health Human Performance & Recreation, Exercise Physiology Minimum License: BLS (CPR), ACLS Exercise Specialist degree, must have ACSM and ACLS within 1 year of hire.
