Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room, ensuring safety, quality, and timely interventions. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver patient-centered services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions promptly and accurately to determine immediate needs and prioritize care.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans aligned with clinical best practices and patient needs.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures following established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate ongoing patient care.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments, document findings, and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Educate and support patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatments, and discharge instructions.

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• Minimum of two years recent ER or acute care nursing experience.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.
• Proficient in EPIC electronic health record system.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and crisis management skills.
