Mobile MRI Technologist — Cardiac Imaging (Travel)

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 1+ year of experience and ARRT(MR) certification for a Level I trauma hospital. Requirements ARRT(MR) certification required (ARMRIT not accepted) BLS certification required Minimum of 1 year of experience required Trauma Level I experience required Teaching hospital experience preferred Must shave facial hair to ensure proper mask seal for respirator fit testing; no medical or religious exemptions accepted Experience with contrast media preparation and administration Experience starting peripheral IVs Skilled in abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging Experience with special imaging procedures including CINE, diffusion, gradient echo imaging, perfusion, MRA, and spectroscopy Fluoroscopy permit may be required if applicable Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration Responsibilities Primarily works in a mobile MRI unit at a Level I trauma hospital Supports inpatient and outpatient populations Performs brain scans including perfusion, functional, and spectroscopy imaging Performs body scans including enterography, defecography, musculoskeletal, breast (including breast biopsy), and spine imaging MR Cardiac with/without contrast experience required 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM Rotating Friday-Sunday call required Uses Siemens equipment and PACS system First-time travelers will be considered for this position Previous travelers cannot have worked past 1 year at this facility within the last 6 months Candidates within 70 miles of the facility are considered local and will not be accepted CAPRs and PAPRs are not provided, and candidates may not use their own at this facility under any circumstances Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts Job ID: P-765531 Open Positions: 1 #J-18808-Ljbffr American Traveler, LLC.
