Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.06 / Hour 21+ Years of Age Active Armed Guard Card/License Valid Driver's License Job Schedule: Mon: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access. Monitor access control points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and notifying supervisors and/or emergency services as appropriate. Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities in required reports and logs, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security-related experience. Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
