Job Description
Job Title: Cath Lab Tech
Profession: Radiology / Cardiology
Specialty: Cath Lab Tech
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Day 4x10-Hour
Hours per Shift: 10
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
License: Valid state license required (pending acceptable)
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or RCIS

Must-Have:
- Experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath and Interventional Cardiac Cath
- Skills in monitoring, neuro intervention, and vascular procedures

Description:
The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures.
The role includes working with STEMI, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, and structural heart devices.
Involvement in interventional radiology procedures such as lines, drains, and embolizations is required.
Candidates must have experience with various atherectomy and thrombectomy devices.
The position may require floating to other areas within the facility.
On-call coverage is required for one shift per week and every fourth weekend.
Some Saturdays may be included in the regular schedule.
Experience with EP, IR, and vascular interventions is essential.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to maintain sterile fields and perform hemodynamic monitoring.
Additional preferred skills include familiarity with various charting systems and rhythm interpretation.
The Cath Lab Tech will also be involved in patient interactions and care within the specified age groups.
