Training Manager

Transdev is seeking a Training Manager to support our Safety and Training Department in Boston, MA. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs that ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies. Key responsibilities include working closely with the Safety Manager to identify training needs, maintain compliance requirements, and ensure all administrative processes and documentation align with federal, state, and company standards. The position promotes a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous learning across the operation. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary: $84,614.40 – $88,899.20 annually. Vacation: minimum of two (2) weeks. Sick days: 5 days. Holidays: 12 days (8 standard, 4 floating). Major Responsibilities Interview driver candidates and select drivers based on Contract Manager approval. Design and deliver training to drivers, including classroom or behind-the-wheel formats. Supervise employees engaged in driver training and hiring functions. Conduct accident investigations, form compliance, safety meetings, passenger management, analysis, and reporting. Provide behind-the-wheel instruction per corporate and client specifications, covering vehicle operation, passenger transportation, defensive driving, service area familiarization, passenger loading/unloading, and securement. Conduct classroom training as required by corporate and location requirements. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the passenger transportation industry. California CDL Class B with Passenger Endorsement. Experience in safety management and/or operations management. Experience creating and managing training materials. Physical Requirements Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed. Ability to work long periods sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen. Work environment is a combination of indoor and outdoor settings.
