Dedicated paraprofessionals will play an essential role in enriching the educational experience through a mix of one-on-one and classroom support positions. This assignment runs from September 1, 2026, through June 16, 2027, aligning with the school calendar and providing steady, consistent work.

School experience is strongly preferred, although no additional paraprofessional certifications or higher education are required—only a high school diploma is needed for consideration.

Key Qualifications:

• High school diploma (required for all applicants)
• Prior experience working or volunteering in school settings preferred
• Ability to provide three completed professional references, including your most recent manager, before interviewing
• Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and a genuine enthusiasm for supporting students
• Willingness to support students both in 1:1 and classroom environments

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work directly with students, offering guidance and assistance tailored to individual needs
• Collaborate closely with classroom teachers and other school staff to foster a positive learning environment
• Help facilitate daily routines, encourage student engagement, and maintain a safe, inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Support the academic, social, and emotional development of students

This contract is for 32.5 hours per week, matching the district’s full-time equivalent standard. Middle school hours are from 7:10 am to 2:10 pm, and high school hours from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm, each including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
