Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Appointment Scheduler to join our team. In this vital role, you will coordinate and confirm client appointments, manage scheduling workflows, and ensure seamless communication between clients and caregivers. Your proactive approach will help us deliver exceptional service while supporting our mission to provide reliable and compassionate home care.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate appointment schedules for clients and caregivers using our scheduling software (Axiscare)
• Conduct warm calling to confirm upcoming appointments and reschedule as needed, ensuring high client satisfaction
• Utilize Axiscare to update client records accurately and track scheduling activities
• Communicate effectively with clients via phone and Axiscare to address inquiries, provide appointment details, and resolve scheduling conflicts
• Collaborate with caregiving teams to optimize daily schedules and ensure timely service delivery
• Maintain detailed logs of all appointment activities, cancellations, reschedules, and client interactions within Axiscare
• Support the onboarding of new clients by scheduling initial consultations and follow-up appointments

Qualifications

• Proven experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service roles with strong phone communication skills
• Familiarity with scheduling software such as Axiscare, Wellsky or Generations; experience with Axiscare is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate appointment times and handle client and caregiver objections confidently
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple schedules simultaneously
• Excellent verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to build rapport quickly over the phone
• Prior call center experience is advantageous but not required

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Medical Facility Scheduling: 1 year (Preferred)
• Big Box Retail Scheduling: 1 year (Preferred)
• Home care: 1 year (Preferred)
