A-Line Staffing is hiring a  Credentialing Specialist to support a large healthcare organization’s medical staff office operations. This role focuses on  provider credentialing in a hospital/clinical setting —maintaining accurate credentialing files, tracking expirations, and supporting compliance and accreditation needs.

Important note: This is  not an insurance provider credentialing role (payer enrollment). This position is focused on  hospital/clinical provider credentialing and privileging .

Position: Credentialing Specialist
Location: Morristown, NJ 07960 (On-site)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (37.5 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage provider credentialing processes (initials and reappointments), including verification and documentation
• Track and manage  licenses, certifications, privileges, and expirations
• Maintain accurate provider files and credentialing workflows using  CredentialStream
• Maintain provider data in credentialing databases (including education, training, experience, licensure)
• Prepare materials for committee meetings (Credentials Committee, MEC, Board-related materials as applicable)
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, legal, federal, and state guidelines
• Support medical staff office processes and maintain confidentiality of provider information
• Assist with meeting scheduling and, as needed, attend meetings and record minutes
• Perform reporting and other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience/knowledge of provider credentialing in a hospital/clinical setting
• Strong organization skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to research and analyze data accurately
• Ability to work independently and maintain strong working relationships
• Strong computer skills
• High School Diploma or equivalent
