If you are interested in making a global impact, we are looking for a full‑time Field Service Technician I to service the areas between Minneapolis and surrounding area. What you’ll be doing The Field Service Technician is responsible for servicing, fixing, upgrading, and performing preventative maintenance on various types of equipment such as coin & currency equipment, ATMs, software, and specialized office products located at client sites in Minneapolis. You will work in coordination with branch sales and other service team members to guarantee ongoing success. Responsibilities and Duties Service, upgrade, and perform preventative maintenance on company electromechanical equipment. Travel by vehicle daily to client sites (90%) with overnight travel as needed (10%). Some long drive times may be encountered depending on geographical territory covered. Work with branch employees to satisfy client needs. Address customer service requests within the specified contract response time. Provide extended hours coverage periods and on‑call duty where applicable. Safeguard and maintain a balanced vehicle stock of parts inventory. Keep company‑issued vehicle clean and serviced, following scheduled service intervals. Safeguard any company‑issued assets including tablet computer and mobile phone. Perform all other duties as required. Qualifications 1+ year of experience in a technical/field service position or similar technical profession. Impeccable integrity. Ability to gain access to highly secured environments; occupational licenses may be required depending on territory/accounts. Strong electromechanical aptitude. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a positive, customer‑first attitude. Personable, approachable, and able to work easily with others at all levels. Strong attention to detail; able to proof and prioritize your own work. Proficient in iOS, MS Office applications, and Windows OS. Ability to set and track goals independently, initiate and follow through on assignments without coaching, and work proactively as a team player. Ability to commit to and meet project deadlines. Physical Requirements Available for periodic travel to our corporate office in Mt. Prospect, IL for training classes. Able to lift, push, or carry a minimum of 50 pounds such as large money‑counting machines and parts in and out of client sites. Job requires kneeling, bending, twisting, lifting, and squatting to service equipment on the ground up to 60% of the time. Hand and wrist dexterity needed to turn screwdrivers and place parts and equipment. Phone or desk work about 10% of the time doing computer work, bench repair work, parts stocking, tracking service calls, and setting up appointments. Ability to stand for long periods (up to 75% of the time) while servicing some equipment.
