Strategic Communications Associate

Our client, a mission-driven communications firm, is looking for a Strategic Communications Associate to support a portfolio of affiliate clients with day-to-day communications execution. In this role, you'll draft press releases, talking points, and presentation materials, develop and help execute communications plans, and support market research and campaign strategy. You'll review your own work for accuracy, tone, and brand consistency before it goes to clients, and you'll manage weekly status reports, timelines, and project recaps to keep accounts running smoothly. This role also includes community engagement, staying plugged into local news and events, connecting with chambers of commerce and area business councils, and supporting client events with collateral, social promotion, and content capture. You'll report to and work closely with a Senior Account Executive, translating client goals and feedback into clear, actionable work for internal teams.
