Limited Permit Mental Health Counselor (MHC-LP)

As an MHC-LP, you’ll provide high-quality telehealth care under approved supervision while building skills toward independent licensure. Key Responsibilities Provide individual psychotherapy for clients with anxiety, trauma, and related concerns. Complete intakes/assessments, treatment plans, and goal-focused, integrative interventions. Maintain timely, accurate, compliant documentation in our EHR. Participate in required supervision and adhere to ethical and regulatory standards. Collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality, culturally responsive care. Qualifications Master’s degree in Counseling or closely related mental health field (eligible for NYS MHC-LP). Commitment to holistic, trauma-informed, culturally responsive practice. Strong clinical writing and organization; comfort with EHR workflows and remote care. Reliable, private, HIPAA-appropriate workspace and professional communication skills. Consistent weekly availability (evenings/weekends as needed). Supervision & Pathway You will practice under NY-approved supervision with clear competencies, regular feedback, and case consultation to support development toward licensure.
