This role is responsible for diagnosing, repairing and maintaining commercial cooking equipment within customer facilities. This role ensures equipment reliability, food safety, and operational continuity for restaurants, healthcare facilities, hospitality, education, and other foodservice operations supported by TriMark USA.The ideal candidate is technically skilled, customer-focused, safety-driven, and experienced in servicing gas and electric hot-side equipment in high-volume commercial kitchen environments.Essential Functions & Key Responsibilities:Troubleshoot and repair gas and electric cooking equipment including ranges, ovens, griddles, fryers, broilers, steamers, kettles, and combi ovensDiagnose electrical, mechanical, and gas-related issues using schematics and diagnostic toolsReplace defective components such as thermostats, gas valves, heating elements, ignition systems, control boards, and safety devicesEnsure compliance with manufacturer specifications and safety standardsPerform routine preventative maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce downtimeCalibrate temperature controls and test safety mechanismsProvide professional, on-site customer supportClearly explain repair findings, recommendations, and preventative measuresComplete service documentation accurately and in a timely mannerMaintain strong relationships with clients and internal dispatch teamsFollow all OSHA, local, and company safety standardsEnsure job sites are clean and safe before departureRequired Qualifications:1-2+ years of experience servicing commercial cooking equipment (hot side)Strong understanding of gas systems, electrical components, and mechanical systemsAbility to read wiring diagrams and service manualsValid driver's license with clean driving recordAbility to lift 75+ pounds and work in confined or high-temperature environmentsPreferred Qualifications:CFESA certificationFactory training on major hot-side manufacturersBasic refrigeration equipment knowledge (a plus)Experience in foodservice, hospitality, or institutional environmentsCore Competencies:Technical troubleshooting expertiseStrong customer service orientationAccountability and ownershipTeam collaborationTime management and route efficiencyAttention to detail and safety awarenessAbility to work independently with minimal supervision
