General Manager

Job Summary Lead a multi-talented team. The General Manager will manage the daily operations and staff of a Wendy’s restaurant with a specific focus on staffing, training, and scheduling to build and retain a 5-star team. Key Responsibilities Identify 5-star talent and position the right people in the right places at the right time through effective scheduling. Act as the face of the restaurant to new hires, providing coaching and development to the team. Support a fun, inviting work environment where the team feels respected and valued. Oversee all people and operations areas, ensuring fresh food is prepared correctly for customers every day and night. Treat customers like family, ensuring great food and service keep them coming back. Guide Assistants Managers, Shift Managers and Crew Members, ensuring each shift improves. Provide and receive direction professionally. Drive store sales and profit goals. What you bring to the table Minimum of years of experience leading people, preferably in a foodservice environment. High school diploma or GED. (Some college experience or military background is a plus.) Demonstrated ability to lead and manage operations in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of food safety procedures and standards. Flexible work availability. You’re willing and able to Travel to other locations as needed. Stand for long periods, bend and kneel, and lift 25 to 50 pounds. Handle weather‑related moments such as rain at the drive‑thru or summer trash removal. Wear a headset and operate restaurant equipment from grill to registers and computers.
