3rd shift Hospital Phlebotomist

Labcorp seeks a Hospital Phlebotomist for third-shift operations at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, Alabama. The role involves collecting blood specimens, processing lab work, entering patient data, and delivering customer service in a clinical laboratory setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol testing
• Accurately enter patient information and maintain specimen logs
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
• Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Minimum three months phlebotomy experience
• Ability to pass standardized color blindness test
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
