This role ensures cross‑functional alignment across marketing, sales, engineering, and manufacturing to deliver competitive, profitable, and customer‑relevant solutions that strengthen FORVIA’s market position and support business growth.Main Missions of the RoleMarket, Customer & VOC ActivitiesMaintain deep knowledge of markets, competitors, technologies, and regulatory environments impacting the product portfolioAnalyze customer requirements, standards, and emerging trends; translate them into clear product and innovation implicationsSupport business units, sales, marketing, and engineering in interpreting Voice of Customer (VOC) dataIdentify and quantify market growth opportunities to support strategic and portfolio planningDrive innovation using a disciplined, science‑based and business‑focused risk/benefit approachProduct Strategy, Portfolio Management, & AcquisitionDefine, maintain, and communicate product roadmaps aligned with market demand, business strategy, and technology readinessEstablish market‑based prioritization criteria for innovation and development investmentsProvide market, customer, and competitive input for innovation and acquisition milestone decisionsGuide innovation projects to ensure functional performance, customer value, and FORVIA competitivenessCommercial & RFQ’s SupportDevelop product positioning, value propositions, and technical‑market rationale to support RFQsContribute to sales tools, product communication materials, and customer presentationsSupport value‑based pricing strategies in collaboration with sales, costing, and engineeringRepresent product line value and capabilities in customer discussions and technical‑commercial reviewsTechnology DevelopmentConvert customer and market requirements into clear product and process objectives with technical leadersSupport and oversee technology and manufacturing development programs to ensure expected cost, quality, and performance outcomesEnable effective collaboration between customer and internal project leaders during technology developmentGovernance, Communication & ComplianceProvide structured and regular reporting on product line performance, roadmaps, and innovation progressEnsure compliance with internal policies, management standards, and Code of EthicsPromote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and cross‑functional alignmentYour profile and competencies to succeedExperience:Minimum 5 years in product development, project management, or commercial roles within automotive or mobility sectorsMinimum 3 years in a customer‑facing role (program management, sales, or equivalent)Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have/be:Minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in EngineeringLead cross-functional teams in a highly collaborative environmentKnowledge of manufacturing and assembly processesKnowledge of product development processesWorking Knowledge of marketing, costing, and salesStrong written and oral communication skillsProject Management SkillsResults oriented & customer focusedTeamwork & collaborationStrong business acumenWhat we can do for youAt Forvia, you will find an engaging and dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of sustainable mobility leading technologies.We are the seventh-largest global automotive supplier, employing more than 157,000 people in more than 40 countries which makes a lot of opportunity for career development.We welcome energetic and agile people who can thrive in a fast-changing environment.
