Location: Chandler AZ
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Client Industry: Banking
Duration: 12-18 Months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM PST
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Design and implement monitoring, telemetry, and observability solutions.
- Improve application reliability, availability, and self-healing capabilities.
- Partner with development teams to drive observability best practices.
- Build and maintain metrics, logging, tracing, and alerting frameworks.
- Monitor and enhance platform performance and reliability.
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of experience in monitoring, telemetry, and observability engineering.
- Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform: Azure, AWS.
- Strong knowledge of cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, containers, serverless, managed services).
- Expertise with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, and OpenTelemetry.
- Deep understanding of metrics, logs, distributed tracing, and alerting strategies.
- Experience building scalable monitoring and logging pipelines.
- Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
- Proficiency with MS, Outlook, and Azure tools/services.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $65 - $70 per hour This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
