Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients’ mental health status, cultural background, and unique circumstances, ensuring tailor-made intervention plans that resonate with individual needs.

• Facilitate personalized therapy sessions focusing on skill-building in areas such as stress management, emotional regulation, and effective communication.

• Develop and implement crisis management plans, including safety strategies that are essential for clients experiencing acute distress or risk of relapse.

• Document sessions meticulously using our electronic health record system to maintain compliance with state regulations and facilitate coordination of care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, team meetings, and supervision to maintain and enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population includes individuals, families, and couples struggling with a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. As a therapist, you will cultivate a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their feelings and work towards meaningful change. Qualifications\n

• A master’s degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid Virginia state license as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPC.

• Proven experience working with diverse client populations and the ability to adapt therapeutic methods to suit individual client needs.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate effective client relationships.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of experience in a professional counseling setting, preferably in telehealth.

Compensation and Benefits\n
