Physician Assistant or Nurse Practioner Full time

Job Description We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant or Nurse Practioner to join our healthcare team. In this role, under the direct supervision of a physician, you will provide comprehensive medical care to patients, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the overall well‑being of our patients. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations Perform medical work in the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in the Nephrology clinic and chronic dialysis unit Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures Provide patient education on disease prevention, management, and treatment options Collaborate with physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using EMR Requirements PA/NP has graduated from an accredited PA/NP program accredited by the Commission on Education for Physician's Assistants/Nurse Practioners and a California Board of PA/NP certified A minimum of one year of experience working as a PA/NP preferred (does not have to be in Dialysis) Proficient in medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is desirable, but not required Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team This is a full‑time position working in Lompoc at least three days per week, in Santa Barbara one day per week, and a flexible, remote schedule on Fridays.
