Job Description
Shift: 07:30am - 04:30pm, Monday - Friday
including a one-hour lunch break
No Weekends, No Call, No Holidays

Description:
Practice within the guidelines of the state licensing board and ethical principles of psychological practice.
Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews and psychological testing.
Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to recognized diagnostic manuals.
Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups, assisting patients in dealing with illnesses or injuries.
Assist in the rehabilitation of patients.
Attend and participate in meetings during normal duty hours and professional staff conferences.
Conduct applied research and clinical investigations in clinical and behavioral health psychology.
Apply psychological procedures and techniques in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of psychological and neuropsychological disorders.
Demonstrate individual, family, and group psychotherapy skills, along with alcohol and drug treatment evaluations.
Consult with medical personnel, legal authorities, and other relevant parties as required.
Maintain accurate and current notes in mental health records and medical records of all patients seen.
Produce reports of evaluation and treatment as required.
Participate in military-specific training, including training for assessments and screenings.
Provide diagnosis and treatment for patients with Traumatic Brain Injuries.


Requirements:

Education:
Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA accredited psychology program.
Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association.

General Knowledge:
Possess the ability to pass a government background check/security clearance.
Minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed clinical psychologist.

Certifications:
ARC or AHA Basic Life Support (BLS).

Licensure:
Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Clinical Psychologist from any state.
