Job Title: Buyer II (Direct Materials)

Location: Plymouth, MN (Hybrid: 4 days on-site, 1 day remote)

Contract Duration: Contract through 09/03/2027

Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Manage direct materials purchasing across raw materials, electronics, plastic tubing, and labels.
• Issue purchase orders (POs), review purchase requisitions, execute constraints, and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Utilize SAP to track inventory levels, update master data (lead times, order quantities), and maintain pricing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to manage inventory target levels and take proactive actions with suppliers.

Qualifications & Target Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (with 2–5 years of direct experience) OR High School Diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Direct Experience: Minimum 2–3+ years in Direct Materials purchasing. Medical device industry background is strongly preferred.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with SAP (or similar enterprise ERP) and MS Office suite.
• Core Competencies: Strong cross-functional communication, ability to work independently, proactive problem-solving, and reliable task execution.
