SGH Pediatrics is seeking a full time  Front Desk Receptionist  for our pediatric office. Every patient and caregiver that walks through our doors should receive a warm welcome and prompt service. The receptionist will cover a range of administrative tasks associated with an office visit: checking patients in and out, answering phones, scheduling, verifying insurance, and collecting co-pays.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in pleasant and courteous manner
• Provide outstanding customer service
• Handle patient’s accounts and records, word processing, and scheduling
• Enter data into patient’s electronic record; scans and indexes documents accurately to patient’s electronic medical record
• Qualifications
• High school diploma
• Strong ethical and moral character references
• 2 Years prior Pediatrics Medical Office experience required
• Understanding of Health Insurance Coverage Types (Deductibles and Co-Pays)
• Proficient computer and phone skills to handle a fast-paced office workload
• Previous use of Athena EMR is a plus along with basic IT knowledge
