Shiron Kilgore - State Farm Agent Jumpstart your career with our Paid Agency Apprenticeship at The Shiron M. Kilgore Agency, Inc. Build your own business under the umbrella of a Fortune 500 financial services and insurance brand. This paid apprenticeship prepares you to run your own independent agency by teaching you sales, client relationship management, and day-to-day operations under the mentorship of an established agency owner. This hands-on program is designed for ambitious individuals who want to learn the insurance industry from the ground up. We look forward to incorporating your energy and marketing perspective into our team as we build success together.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Sales & Business Development: Generate new client relationships through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and community outreach.
- Needs Analysis & Quoting: Evaluate prospective clients’ financial situations and risks to recommend tailored auto, home, life, and business insurance solutions.
- Client Retention: Provide exceptional ongoing customer service, process policy reviews, and assist clients through the claims process.
- Agency Operations: Master the fundamentals of running a profitable business, including budgeting, CRM lead management, and staffing.
- Entrepreneurial Drive: A strong desire to build, own, and scale your own independent business.
- Flexible: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, as well as operate independently
- Experience: Proven background in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, networking, and presentation skills.
- Organizational Skills: Prioritization, time management, and organizational skills to meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail
- Licensing: Ability to obtain (or current possession of) Property & Casualty and Life & Health insurance licenses.
