Travel Acute Care Physical Therapist - $2,410 per week

Job Title Travel Physical Therapist (PT) – Du Bois, Pennsylvania Overview We are seeking a Physical Therapist for an immediate 13‑week travel assignment in Du Bois, PA. The position requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour days. Responsibilities Evaluate, develop, and execute a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within facility guidelines and adhere to state, provider, and payer rules. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care. Understand and utilize adaptive equipment. Modify the plan of care as indicated based on the patient’s condition. Use medical center computer systems for daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and insurance guidelines. Requirements BLS certification. State‑specific physical therapy license. Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates encouraged, but 12 months of experience preferred for exceptional candidates. Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods of time. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Pay and Benefits Pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
