Open Rank Neurologist

Position Title MD or MD/PhD Neurologist Faculty Position Institution The Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine at UT Health San Antonio, Glenn Biggs Institute for Alzheimer's & Neurodegenerative Diseases. Overview We are searching for a board‑certified neurologist with subspecialty training in Behavioral, Geriatric, Dementia, Vascular, Movement Disorders, or Sleep to join the Biggs Dementia Clinic and Clinical Research Core. The appointment may be open‑rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) and can be tenured, tenure‑track, or non‑tenure. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive clinical care for memory and cognitive disorders, work on clinical trials, and contribute to interdisciplinary research and education. Responsibilities Provide patient care for disorders related to Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Lead or participate in clinical trials as principal investigator or site PI. Engage in preclinical disease research and interdisciplinary collaborations. Teach and mentor students, residents, and fellows. Contribute to clinical and research curriculum development. Qualifications MD or MD/PhD with board certification in neurology and subspecialty training (Behavioral, Geriatric, Dementia, Vascular, Movement Disorders, or Sleep). Experience caring for patients with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementias. Evidence of clinical trial experience or willingness to conduct trials. Strong publication record and research interests aligned with the Biggs Institute mission. Commitment to teaching, mentorship, and service.
