Take the next step in your career by supporting early intervention as a Speech-Language Pathologist in an engaging Infant and Toddler Program. Deliver impactful services as part of an itinerant team, traveling between sites near Leonardtown, MD, while being compensated for mileage. This contract opportunity is perfect for professionals seeking flexibility and rewarding work with young children and their families.
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license with the state of Maryland
- Open to SLPs with CCC or eligible Clinical Fellows (CFY)
- Experience with pediatric populations, preferably infants and toddlers
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to travel between program sites as needed
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to infants and toddlers identified with communication needs
- Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and a multidisciplinary team to facilitate individualized support
- Consult and partner with educational staff to ensure effective strategies are carried over in multiple environments
- Schedule and manage service delivery for a diverse caseload, ensuring compliance with program standards
Perks and Schedule:
- Flexible part-time schedule (2-3 days per week, 15–24 hours), allowing for work–life balance
- Paid mileage for travel between program locations
- 11-month contract spanning through July 1, 2027
