Qualus Field Engineering WiremanPower your future with Qualus in our Field Engineering department as a Wireman. The Wireman is to perform wire pulling, wire termination, and control panel construction within substations and electrical facilities.Responsibilities• Reads prints, uses standard hand and power tools, follow specific work instructions while adhering to all Safety and Human Performance fundamentals• Inspect, test, repair, and maintain electrical equipment in generating stations, substations, and in-service relays• Wires from point-to-point or schematics• Install process piping and instrumentation• Installs components per layout drawingsMinimum Qualifications• High School Diploma or Equivalent• Basic electrical knowledge in commercial, industrial, or utility projects• Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form; deal with problems involving several concrete variables• Ability to communicate effectively in English (inclusive of reading and writing) due to the nature of safety-related materials, documentation, and interactions with clients.• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)• Perform regular field work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions• Valid Driver's license and good driving recordBenefits & CompensationQualus benefits offered include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays, for those who qualify.The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
