Position: Bilingual IT Infrastructure Project Manager
Location: Kansas City, KS (Onsite)

Full-time onsite in Kansas, USA
Remote work is not an option
Project Overview
The selected candidate will work closely with the current customer leadership team, and be responsible for driving the successful delivery of infrastructure-related initiatives.
This is not a traditional PM role focused only on schedule and budget management.
We are looking for a leader who can take ownership of overall project success, proactively manage stakeholders, resolve issues, mitigate risks, and effectively communicate with customer management.
Responsibilities
Overall project leadership and execution
Issue and risk management
Customer and stakeholder management
Executive-level reporting
Escalation management and problem resolution
Coordination between customer teams, NTT DATA teams, and Japan-based resources
Driving project outcomes and ensuring successful delivery
Required Experience
Proven IT Infrastructure Project Management experience
Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills
Experience presenting and reporting to executive management
Ability to lead projects in complex enterprise environments
Technical Background
Broad infrastructure knowledge and experience, including:
Network
Security / Firewall
Cloud (Azure and/or AWS)
On-Premises Infrastructure
Operating Systems
Middleware
Data Center Infrastructure
Application development experience is not required.
Preferred Background
Experience working with Japanese companies or Japanese-style project governance
Ability to operate effectively in a consensus-driven stakeholder environment
Experience leading infrastructure transformation or large-scale enterprise infrastructure projects
Language Requirements
Business-level English required
Japanese language skills are a plus, but not mandatory
Experience working within Japanese business environments is more important than Japanese language proficiency itself
Contract Information
Duration: 1 to 2 years
Target Start Date: November 2026 to January 2027
