Associate Director Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Outreach and Education (CS26-258)

Role Overview Associate Director Deputy Title IX Coordinator for Outreach and Education (CS26-258) is responsible for directing curriculum design, training implementation, program development, state mandated surveys, staffing, and policy oversight related to Title IX, including pregnancy and religious waiver processes. Responsibilities Direct all aspects of curriculum design and development for mandated student sexual assault prevention, and employee sexual assault awareness training. Lead implementation of training plans and ensure institutional compliance. Develop comprehensive outreach and educational programming plan and budget, directing finances and resource allocation throughout the year. Serve as primary liaison to campus, student, and community departments to support prevention efforts and raise awareness. Coordinate planning and logistics for all programming. Research and identify potential grants or related funding sources, and develop and write grant proposals to support outreach and education efforts. Oversee the state mandated bi-annual campus climate survey and serve as liaison with the University's confidential advisor resource provider Metro East Every Survivor Counts. Oversee student staffing: recruitment, onboarding, training, and management of work assignments, develop curriculum, design training, and provide instruction to individual students/employees and group training. Create, interpret, develop, and oversee implementation of policies and procedures related to Title IX pregnancy and newly parenting rights, and religious waiver of vaccination requirements, including case management of students. Minimum Acceptable Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. One year of education, training, and/or work experience in the area of specialization inherent to the position. Preferred Qualifications Advanced degree in social work, student affairs, education, public health, or related fields (Master’s, J.D., MBA, Ed.D., etc.). Additional years of experience in sexual misconduct or domestic violence prevention programming, project coordination, curriculum development in education or nonprofit organization, including leadership experience. Experience developing, promoting, and leading educational programs and initiatives. Strong written, verbal, presentation, organizational, and time management skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. General knowledge of legislation relevant to sexual misconduct prevention in a university context. Case management experience and skills. Excellent customer service skills.
