Corporate Accounting Manager

You will own the full accounting cycle, guide a small team, and keep the numbers accurate and reporting on time. Responsibilities
- Own the full accounting cycle, running the monthly, quarterly, and annual close across multiple entities and keeping reporting accurate, complete, and on time under US GAAP.
- Review and approve daily journal entries, vendor bills, reconciliations, and intercompany entries so day to day processing stays accurate and in line with company policy.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and quarterly reporting packages, and build repeatable close procedures the team can rely on.
- Manage core accounting areas including fixed assets, leases, payroll, operating expenses, and entity level financials.
- Support quarterly lender reporting and help keep the company aligned with its loan requirements.
- Apply US GAAP across areas like leases and foreign currency, with room to grow into revenue recognition and business combinations.
- Review internal control findings, close gaps, and help strengthen processes over time.
- Partner with external auditors during audits and reviews.
- Lead improvement projects such as ERP upgrades and reconciliation automation.
- Coach and develop the accounting team by setting clear goals, reviewing work, and supporting their technical growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, plus a CPA.
- 6 or more years of progressive accounting experience, including some team leadership.
- Solid, practical knowledge of US GAAP.
- Hands on experience with core areas such as leases (ASC 842), fixed assets (ASC 360), and foreign currency (ASC 830).
- Comfort with accruals, reserves, and deferred revenue.
- Experience with bank reconciliations in a high volume environment.
- Experience working in financial systems and ERPs.
- Experience handling accounting across multiple entities and currencies.
- Strong communication, analytical, and team leadership skills.
- Familiarity with revenue recognition (ASC 606) and business combinations (ASC 805).
- Experience at a private equity backed or global company.
- Experience with lender reporting and loan covenant compliance.
- A track record of leading process improvement or automation projects.
