Qualification Engineer

MAU is hiring a Qualification Engineer for our client in Greenville, SC. As a Qualification Engineer, you will lead equipment, part, and special process qualifications while supporting manufacturing capacity growth, quality initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts. This is a long-term contract opportunity. Manage schedules and scope for equipment purchases, installation activities, and qualification efforts. Attend and facilitate Kaizens and Roadmaps to support capacity ramp initiatives. Lead qualification projects from inception through closure for parts and special processes, including coatings, brazing, and related manufacturing processes. Apply design and manufacturing knowledge to implement new ideas that enhance qualification processes, reduce costs, and add value. Identify and implement qualification cost-reduction opportunities. Provide regional and, in some cases, global shop support. Cultivate a positive working environment and team morale. Drive a sense of urgency while maintaining quality and speed throughout qualification activities.
