Senior Electrical Engineer

Stryker seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical components for Mako robotic surgical systems. The role encompasses circuit design, PCB development, prototype testing, and cross-functional collaboration to advance robotic-assisted surgery technology.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical components and subsystems for robotic end effectors throughout development lifecycle
• Perform schematic design, PCB development, and electrical hardware integration activities
• Build prototypes, conduct bench testing, and validate electrical functionality against requirements
• Troubleshoot hardware issues, perform root cause analysis, and integrate with mechanical and software components
• Develop engineering documentation including schematics, specifications, test procedures, and design records

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 2+ years professional electrical engineering experience
• Experience designing and troubleshooting electrical hardware subsystems
• Proficiency with schematic design, PCB development, and component selection
• Hands-on prototyping and laboratory equipment experience preferred
• Medical device industry experience and familiarity with design controls preferred

Compensation: $89,300 - $148,800 USD Annual
