Your Impact Are you ready to take on a new challenge and grow your career with Jacobs? Role Overview Department Leader – West Region - Aviation within our PMCM Infrastructure organization. This is a unique chance to advance your career, expand your leadership experience, and make a meaningful impact across our West Region portfolio. Reporting to the West PMCM Director of Operations, this role can be performed within one of our offices in the West of the US. Responsibilities Represent Jacobs in the marketplace, including engaging with clients, partners, vendors and the community. Work with our sales organization in the development of the business growth pipeline and strategies for growing our aviation footprint and portfolio. Identify and track new business opportunities and set priorities for pursuing the best options for success. Act as Project Executive and/or Manager of Projects across a portfolio of aviation projects. Provide financial oversight of project financials to meet regional operating margin goals. Ensure project delivery compliance to meet company’s operational standards and processes. Promote a culture of caring, quality, safety and inclusion and diversity. Maintain clear, open communication with stakeholders across all levels of the organization. Qualifications & Requirements Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders while maintaining focus on the business portfolio. Organizational and business management experience. Proven experience and leadership in the delivery and management of highly visible aviation projects. Knowledge and experience with supporting and managing scalable teams of various skillsets and expertise. Connectivity to industry peers, organizations and market trends. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field. 5+ years of related experience managing large, complex aviation projects. 5+ years of related experience in managing project teams within the aviation environment. Ability to travel as required by the role. Location & Work Environment Onsite employees are expected to attend a Jacobs workplace on a full‑time basis, as required by the nature of their role. Salary The base salary range for this position is $184,000.00 to $275,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
