Assistant Project Manager

TheAssistantProjectManagerisresponsibleforassistingtheProjectManagerinthecompletionofhighqualityprojectsontime,withinbudgetandwithinscope.Thisrolewillassistinoverseeingallaspectsofaprojectfromstarttofinishbycoordinatingeffortsinvolvingtheinternalteam,subcontractors,vendors,andowners/developers.Theidealcandidatewillhaveoutstandinginterpersonalskills,adjustingtochangingprioritiesfromvariousdirectives,andcommunicateeffectively. RESPONSIBILITIES Secureandallocateresourcesneededforprojectsuccess,includingbuildingpermits,licenses,materials,equipment. Planandexecuteinspections,assesscomplianceandqualityandmitigaterisks. Budget,estimatecosts,buy-outcontracts,evaluationscopeandmanagechangeorders. Collaboratewithprojectleadershiptomonitorandreportoncompliance,quality,andproductivity. Managerelationshipswithinternalandexternalpartiestodetermineprojectspecifications,resolveconflict,andsupportsuccess. Leadteamleader,buildsynergywithinandacrosstheteam,anddevelopindividuals. Knowandcomplywithallfederal,state,localbuildingcodes,ordinances,andregulations,maintainingthehigheststandardsforsafety,andquality. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor’sdegreeorrelatedfield,preferablyinConstructionManagement,CivilEngineering,MechanicalEngineering,ArchitectureoraConstructionManagementCertificatefromanaccrediteduniversity. Abilitytoread,understandandinterpretconstructionplans,schematics,blueprints,drawings,andtechnicalmanualstodetermineappropriateconstructionmethods. Solidcomputerskills,withaworkingknowledgeofMSOffice,includingOutlook,Project,Excel,andWord. Excellentleadershipandcommunicationskills. Workingknowledgeofconstructionsoftware,includingProCoreandTimberline. Avaliddriver’slicense. OSHA-30certification.
