Job Description JOB TITLE: AP Processor DEPARTMENT/DIVISION: REPORT TO: Director of Accounts Payable LOCATION: Woodbury, NY COMPENSATION: $50,000-55,000 Summary / Objective Perform routine accounting work in the accounts payable function. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Functions Responsible for all aspects of AP Three‑way matching of invoices, purchase orders and receiving documents Coding of invoices Interact with outside vendors which includes checking status on statements and making sure invoices are paid on time. Interact with internal resources to get approvals and check status of invoices Cutting checks and mailing them out in a timely fashion Other duties may be assigned, as needed or required Qualifications & Skills 3+ years of accounts payable experience Independent problem solving skills Proficiency in MS Word and Excel Detail oriented and highly organized Effective verbal and written communication skills Previous SAP experience and OpenText a plus Supervisory Responsibility None Work Environment Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, communicate, reach and manipulate objects, tools or controls. The position requires mobility. Duties involve moving materials weighing up to 10 pounds on a regular basis. Manual dexterity and coordination are required over 50% of the work week while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and similar machines.
