Responsibilities A Customer Service Representative (CSR) delivers a positive customer experience on the banking floor. Responsibilities include: Provide quality customer service and a positive banking experience by handling financial transactions such as opening accounts with a professional attitude. Determine customer needs, explain and sell products and services. Participate in branch prospecting efforts. Assist customers with requests such as stop payments, wire transfers, balance discrepancies, loan information, etc. Serve as a liaison between customers and operational areas. Provide backup to the teller line as needed. Understand directions and adhere to established policy and procedures. Remain focused and maintain commitment to the Branch’s and Bank’s annual goals. Carry out additional duties assigned or directed. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and internal controls; complete all training requirements in a timely manner. Travel to other branches as needed to support staffing levels. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. At least 2 years of banking and/or customer‑service experience, typically required. Accurate and proficient math skills. Proficient computer skills. Clear thinking and ability to stay focused. Professional, friendly interpersonal communication skills. Thorough knowledge of bank products and services. Consistent demonstration of CFSI core values: strong work ethic, integrity, respect for others, responsibility, transparency, and humility.
