Fabricator/Press Operator

Nesco Resource is seeking a full-time Component Fabrication Technician with experience in roll forming, welding, and punch press operation to join a small, tight-knit manufacturing team on the West Side. The company is under new ownership and growing, offering a great opportunity to be part of a supportive environment where your contributions make a real impact. This is a 1st shift role, Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM, with starting pay up to $20/hour.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform part fabrication processes including stamping, roll forming, welding, and sanding.
• Handle, load, and mount production materials safely and efficiently.
• Operate stamping presses to produce high-quality, consistent parts.
• Monitor and troubleshoot equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Use precision measuring instruments-calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, dial indicators, height gauges, etc.-to verify that parts meet customer specifications.
• Meet or exceed established daily production targets.
• Follow all required safety procedures and maintain efficient work practices.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and well-maintained.
• Contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented environment and support continuous improvement efforts under new ownership.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in fabrication, roll forming, welding, or punch press operation required.
• Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, work instructions, or production drawings.
• Comfortable using precision measuring tools and performing quality checks.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable work ethic, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
