3rd Shift Maintenance Mechanic | Food & Beverage Manufacturing | Patriot Beverages - Littleton, MA

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Maintenance Mechanic to join our Food & Beverage operations team. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent operation. The ideal candidate has hands‑on mechanical and electrical aptitude, experience in a food or beverage manufacturing environment, and the ability to perform both preventative and corrective maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on processing, packaging, and facility equipment. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime. Support production teams by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns and ensuring operational reliability. Calibrate and adjust machinery to maintain product quality and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and work orders in the CMMS system. Follow all safety, food safety, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) guidelines. Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects. Collaborate with other mechanics, engineers, and operators to resolve recurring issues and improve equipment performance. Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory standards, and sanitation requirements. All other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: 3–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (food & beverage industry preferred). Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English to ensure accurate interpretation of maintenance instructions, safety procedures, and technical documentation. Basic welding, fabrication, and machine shop skills a plus. Familiarity with PLC‑controlled systems and instrumentation preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime, as needed. Comfortable working in a fast‑paced and noisy environment as typical in food manufacturing. Education: High school diploma or GED required. Technical training, certification, or associate degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical/electrical technology, or a related field preferred. Work Environment: Fast‑paced food/beverage production environment. Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 40 lbs, and work in varying temperature conditions (hot/wet).
