About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to join their team. The successful candidate will be dedicated to providing exceptional legal services and supporting the growth and development of the organization. Key responsibilities include providing legal analysis and counsel on a wide range of issues, such as contracts, statutes and regulations, employment law, intellectual property, financial offerings, and strategic planning. The role also involves ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the legal team, drafting and negotiating contracts, managing licensing and regulatory processes, and contributing to the development of new initiatives from a legal perspective. Applicants for the Assistant General Counsel position at the company should have a Juris Doctorate, LLM, or equivalent degree from an ABA-accredited law school, with a preference for additional business or pharmacy degrees. A minimum of 6 years' of legal experience is required, along with a license to practice law in at least one US state. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal research, and analysis, and a proven track record of interacting cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues. Experience in contract management, and a working knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, are essential. The role demands a high level of dedication, the ability to work collaboratively, and a commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
