Location: NY/NJ Duration: 11 Months Remarks: Years' of experience: 12-15 Skills needed: Need an experienced data architect for Regeneron GD-IT Architecture team. 12--15 years extensive experience data integration services, databricks or snowflake Should have worked on diagrams and worked them through the board process. They will be working with leadership across all life sciences domain, so good communication is a must. Life sciences experience is a must, or any early clinical development is okay. New Jersey/New York but can be located elsewhere if necessary.

Contract Description

1. Design and implement scalable, secure data architectures across cloud platforms (AWS, Databricks, Snowflake).
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and align solutions with business objectives.
3. Lead workshops and design sessions to capture requirements and develop architecture strategies.
4. Oversee data integration, transformation, and governance processes to ensure quality and compliance.
5. Drive continuous improvement and innovation in data architecture practices and platform modernization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience in Data Architecture/Engineering, including 2+ years managing technical teams.
• Proven experience in Life Sciences domains (Clinical R&D and Commercial) with enterprise-grade solution implementations.
• Expertise in cloud data platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks) and big data architecture patterns (Lambda, Kappa).
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence and mentor teams.
• Knowledge of data security best practices and performance optimization for large-scale data environments.
